.
Dear Madam,
.
This year, as it is already a custom, 11th graders from our school have been given the opportunity to join a group of Israeli students and teachers going on a trip to Poland. I am writing because I want to complain about the expensive cost.
/
This journey to the past, has a very important meaning, and in my opinion, everybody has to experience it. Because of the expensive cost, many students can not afford it. In my eyes, it's a pity that students can not go on this critical journey because of economical reasons. Also, I noticed a significant rise in the prices, according to what I have heard, and it is not reasonable nor fair.
/
I am personally, going on this journey, and I'm very glad and grateful for it. My parents have always wanted me to experience it, and they have savings for this. In addition, my grandparents are Holocaust survivors, and they also have encouraged me to go, because it's very important to them.
/
In conclusion, I would like to ask you to do the best that you can to lower the price, or try to subsidize it as much as possible. It is very important, so please, do your best.
.
I look forward to your replay.
Truly yours,
Hila Semo.
Better. Good Work.

A Summer's Reading

George is a 20 year old young man,who dropped out of school at the age of sixteen. Since then, he has done nothing all day long, he doesn't study anything, only reads some magazines that his sister Sophie brings him. George, as the main character, develops along the story. He makes his own journey towards improving himself and his life.
-
George is described as a tall bony boy. George grows up in the Bronx, in average conditions. It seems like he does nothing ,he only reads somtimes some magazines. He likes to go to the park in the evenings to think and dream a little bit. George does not work in any job, so he does not earn money at all. He gets some money from his sister.George's mother died, his father is barely at home, he works all day long, ,and so does his sister,Sophie. It seems that Sophie cares more about George, while his father is never there.
-
George has a difficult nature. He is very lazy, he gets tired with everything he starts. He seems to be immature and he does not take his life seriously. George changes thanks to his neighbor Mr. Cattanzara. First, George does not do anything, and he does not read, but while the good rumors about his reading are spread(gr.) in the neighberhood, its(gr.) makes George feel confidant again. In the end of the story he start(gr.) to read.
-
In the beginning of the story, I did not like George so much, although I could identify with him. George, along the story, did a lot of mistakes when he lied many times and hurt even himself. Instead of doing nothing and telling everybody he is reading one hundreds books, he could just do this without expecting appreciation. I liked him much more when he changed in the end, and I started to appreciate him as a character.
In my eyes, this story, like all others stories, has a message, that the author wants to pass us(phr.). The message is- work hard, make an effort, and in this way you will succed- it is worth it.

I have recently read a novel by Colleen McCullogh called "The Thorn Birds". This novel is one of the most popular novels of recent times. In this novel, forbidden love is the heart of the story. I really enjoyed this book. It made me even shed tears .
-
The story is about Meggie, a little girl, who becomes a woman along the story, and her forbidden love to the priest Ralph de Bricassart. They first met when the story began, at Drogheda in Australia, when the family moved to the ranch of the father's aunt, because she needed someone who could manage it. Meggie, along the story looses a lot. She experiences some losses, and even in the end,it ends badly.
-
During the story were described details about the deep connection between Meggie and the priest. The author relates to the obstacles in their relationsheep. Meggie gets married with some guy she met at the farm, and she is realizes that he is not what she thought he is. She misses the priest and thinks about him all this time, and their realtionsheep develops, but in the end, things get complicated.
-
I really enjoyed reading this book. I don't read a lot, and I have to tell you that this book made me want to read more. It was so emotional, so deep, like a novel should be.Anyone who like to read novels must, in my opnion, read this one. I promise he will enjoy it.

The connection between nutrition and behavior

Nowadays, there is more awareness to healthy food and sport activities. It has been discovered in a study, which took place in America on prisoners, that there is a connection between nutrition and behavior. When you add to your nutrition healthy nutrients such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and vitamin supplements , you will behave much better. In my opinion, food manufacturers should take responsibility for producing healthier food.
/
The food industry these days, is very varied and include a lot of snacks, sweets, and of course, there is the fast /junk food. These kinds of foods are not very healthy. They contain a lot of sugar, additives, and fats. The result of this production is that people get fat, angry, impatient, and more aggresive. We can absolutley blame the manufactorers. They are
responsable for what we eat most of time.
/
Moreover, today there are people who really pay attention to their health and try to keep a good and balanced diet. Sometimes, the values on the packages are false, and it misleads the public. This fact was descovered in a study, which was conducted, apparently, in Britain, by successful researches. The food industry needs to condiser these people, and there are even sick people who really need the exact values.
/
There is no doubt that the food manufactorers are responsible for what we eat, and I think it would be great if they produce more healthy food and less of junk food. Let's start to fight against unhealthy food, because after all, we can only benefit from this, by recieving more patience, peace and a healthy body.

The connection between obesity and sleep

Dr. Francesco Capochio from the v'worwik medicine school in the UK collected information from different publications which discuss the connection between obesity and sleep.
The elements that were collected for the study are : Sleep duration, Body mass (BMI), and also the number of participants , age and gender. "The study indicates a connection between lack of sleep to higher chances of developing obesity, both in adults and in children," says Dr. Capochio.
/
Nowadays, there is a large emphasis on education, physical activity and proper nutrition, but people aren't aware of the importance of good a good night sleep.
One of the complications of obesity is a sleep disorder called sleep Tsnik breath, a phenomenon that causes respiratory disorder breathing pauses during sleep. Tsnik breathless sleep can cause awakening dozens of times during one night and causes sleepiness the next day. Also, Tsnik breathless sleep increases the risk of hypertension, heart disease, sexual functioning problems, stroke, worsening state of the blood vessels in patients with diabetes and an increased risk of accidents and work.
/
Snores mark a shortage of air and a partially blocked airway. Almost every one of us snores occasionally. About half of the people who snore very loudly suffer from sleep breathing Btsnik. The disease arises when the excess fat in the neck press on respiratory, preventing proper air into the lungs. One of the leading treatments for Btsnik sleep breathing is weight loss. Fat people who lose 10% of their weight significantly reduce respiratory Tsnik and sleep better.
/
It is Recommended that children aged two months to 11 months slept 14-15 hours a night, children over age need 12-14 hours sleep ,and preschool children should sleep 11-13 hours a night. School-aged children need 10-11 hours of sleep every night, adolescents need to sleep 9 hours and adults should sleep 7-8 hours.
More tips for good sleeping :
Don't turn on T.V ,computer and other interruptions.
Maintain a regular routine of sleeping hours.
Don't go to bed hungry but don't go to sleep on a full stomach too.
In conclusion, advisable to maintain proper nutrition, and sleep well.
Where is your "voice " in all of that. What I've read is an account of what you have read. You spent the essay rewriting the whole article, when you should have written only a summary of it together with your point of view and opinion on what you've read.

Attention Deficit Disorders

Attention Deficit Disorders are interruptions that exist in high percents in the population. There are some who don't think that it is an interruption, and suppose that it could be Sleep or Hearing problems, Background of psychological stress and more. The Ritalin is allowed(ww) by doctors very easily, so there are people who think that is unnecessary.
/
Attention Deficit Disorders interfere with the ability to stay on schedule, aims and follow accepted rules in the environment the patients live in. The disorders also may cause anxiety and depression, low self-esteem and problems in creating social ties. The ideal situation is when the disorders are diagnosed in time, by the whole environment- at school, at home ...
/
When it's about adults, they can contact the treatment clinic independently, to get a prescription drug, and to get an explanation about the Phenomenons that accompany them. The Attention Deficit Disorders could be treated by Ritalin, and by a special Diet with food Supplements, such as Cod liver oil, iron, zinc and more.
You need a concluding paragraph.
